Terms of service

These terms cover buying and using QuotaRing, a Mac and iPhone app made by zenora.studio. By buying or using QuotaRing you agree to them.

Your license

Each purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable license key for the plan you bought. The plan sets how many tools QuotaRing shows and how many Macs the key can be active on at once: Personal covers 2 tools on 1 Mac, Plus covers 4 tools on 3 Macs and Pro covers every tool on 5 Macs. Every plan allows unlimited accounts per tool, and the iPhone app is included. You can deactivate a Mac in Preferences to move the key to another one.

Payment

Every plan is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Payments are processed by Polar, which acts as the merchant of record and handles billing, taxes and receipts. Your orders and keys are in the Polar customer portal.

Refunds

If QuotaRing isn't right for you, write to [email protected] within 14 days of buying for a full refund. The license key stops working once the refund is issued.

Upgrades and updates

To move to a higher plan, buy that plan and paste its key. Updates for your version are free and install automatically. Features and supported tools can change over time, because QuotaRing depends on what each AI provider makes readable.

Acceptable use

Don't share, resell or publish your key, or try to bypass the license check. A key used against these terms can be revoked.

Third-party services

QuotaRing reads usage from AI tools you already use, through your own sign-ins and keys. It is not affiliated with Anthropic, OpenAI, Google or any other provider, and the numbers it shows come from them. See Privacy and data flow for what is read and where it goes.

No warranty

QuotaRing is provided as is. We work to keep its readings accurate, but a provider can change or stop reporting usage at any time. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for your license.
